Easter is such a special time. We’ve got lots of services and events planned to help us journey through Holy Week to Easter Day. There is a range of events from quiet prayer to noisy activities. We hope there will be something for everyone as we seek to experience the wonder of the Easter story.
2025 Holy Week Services
Palm Sunday 13th April
8am Said Holy Communion
10am All Age Worship (with Communion)
4pm Family Church at Four (with donkey)
Holy Week Church Opening for quiet prayer (times tbc)
Monday 14th: 9-11am & 6.30-7.30pm
Tuesday 15th: 9-11am & 6.30-7.30pm
Wednesday 16th: 6.30-7.30pm
(mid-week service at 10am in Parish Centre)
Thursday 17th: 9-11am
Maundy Thursday - Thursday 17th
Communion Service 7pm
Followed by Vigil (altar stripped bare, scriptures read and silence to reflect)
Good Friday - 18th
Good Friday Family Event 10am-1pm (in Parish Centre)
Walk of Witness: 9.30am start at Parish Centre. Walking along Stokesley Road to Marton Shops (prayer stop); Gunnergate Lane to Parkway Centre (prayer stop); West Beck, Fairy Dell and Campion Close back to Parish Centre. Hot cross buns to end.
Meditations at the Cross 12-3pm Broken into 15-20 minute chunks with scripture, reflections and silence. Come for as short or long as you are able to.
Easter Sunday
8.30am Breakfast on the Beach
10am - Easter Holy Communion
4pm Family Church at Four (Parish Centre)
Palm Sunday
Our Family Church at Four service is having a visit from a guest donkey to help tell the Palm Sunday story. Come from 3.30pm for refreshments and extra time to meet the donkey
